New to amateur radio or looking for a refresher on the use of IRLP and EchoLink, the predominant VoIP technologies that have revolutionized amateur radio? If so, then you need to join the IRLP & EchoLink Made Easy presentation on August 14, 2013 @ 9:00pm ET on the VA3XPR analog FM repeater! This interactive tutorial, which is part of the VA3XPR “Over The Air Learning” series, will teach participants all about IRLP and EchoLink operation, whether using an HT, PC or smartphone and is intended to help amateur radio operators make the most of this great hobby.

About Don Trynor, VA3XFT

Don is a 16-year veteran of the telecommunications industry and a licensed Canadian ham radio operator since 1988. He is passionate about VHF/UHF repeater communications, especially using digital modes and he has owned and operated a number of ham radio repeater installations over the years, including ones in both the provinces of Ontario (VE3/VA3) and New Brunswick (VE9). In addition to ham radio, Don enjoys traveling, hiking, kayaking, biking and astronomy.
